Daycare/Preschool/Homeschool Teacher/Caregiver/Nanny and Assistant

We are seeking a child care and education specialist for our daycare-preschool. The ideal candidate will have skill working in child care, teaching preschool and grade school curriculums, housekeeping and personal assisting.

CHILDCARE, PRESCHOOL & HOMESCHOOL TEACHER DUTIES

1) Effectively communicate with children, parents, director and other staff.

2) Follow our schedule / curriculum.

3) Prepare and manage meals and snacks.

4) Change diapers and assist with personal hygiene.

5) Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, crafts & lessons

6) Manage classroom behavior & create positive learning experiences.

7) Care & educate toddlers, preschoolers with a focus on emotional regulation.

8) Facilitate outdoor recess year-round and manage children's outdoor behavior.

9) Teach preschool curriculum

10) Teach grade-school curriculum

ASSISTANT DUTIES:

1) Baby-sit/care for school-aged children

2) Transport children

3) Physical and digital marketing assignments

4) Answer phone calls and schedule appointments

5) Conduct facility tours

6) Provide customer service

7) Physical and online shopping

8) Manage other workers

9) Thoroughly clean the facilities, esp. bathrooms, kitchens & walls and miscellaneous cleaning assignments

10) Other cleaning & maintenance assignments as requested.

OTHER DUTIES

1) Work at locations in either Orem or Vineyard, as requested.

2) Consistently demonstrate punctuality.

3) Demonstrate independent critical thinking.

4) Always speak calm and kind

5) Other miscellaneous assignments

REQUIREMENTS:

1) Pass a background check

2) CPR certification with hands-on training

3) Food handler's permit

4) Driver's license

5) Auto insurance

6) Reliable transportation vehicle

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

1) 1-year or more of previous experience in childcare or early childhood education.

2) Marketing employment or education history

SCHEDULE:

1) 12:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Monday - Friday

2) 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

3) 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday AND 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday and Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $26.00 per hour
