We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Dayshift Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face for our guests, delivering exceptional service that enhances their dining experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest feels valued and satisfied from the moment they arrive until they leave. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills in a lively, fast-paced environment while working during daytime hours. You will be responsible for creating a memorable dining atmosphere, managing orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, and sanitation to uphold food safety regulations
• Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Upsell menu items by highlighting specials, wine pairings, or premium options to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Buss tables efficiently, clear dishes, and maintain a clean dining area to ensure a welcoming environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Support kitchen staff with basic food prep or bussing duties as needed in a team-oriented manner

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in a food service or hospitality setting is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience with fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential
• Serving or host/hostess experience in a nightclub or similar venue will be considered an asset
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests
• Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction accuracy are required
