The Distribution Operations Coordinator plans, monitors and communicates product flow to operational leadership, partner departments, and associates with the goal of ensuring quality expectations and productivity levels within the Distribution Center. The Coordinator serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for warehouse management and control systems.

Engage operational leadership, partner departments, and production associates by identifying, communicating, and maintaining service levels, quality expectations, and productivity
Monitor the flow of product and associates throughout the DC by communicating to DC Leads and Area Managers
Troubleshoot issues on the floor and call out areas of concern to IT, Maintenance, and/or Engineering through the use of equipment or system notification
Analyze wave and task configuration to maximize efficiency and develop new strategies and rules that improve DC flow and performance.
Provide leadership and support to operations by serving as a functional subject matter expert for warehouse management and warehouse control systems
Assist and support IT and Engineering resources in the configuration and testing of WMS and WCS
Develop, execute, and maintain metrics and reporting for all areas through use of queries, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and other software applications
Responsible for the proper handling and safe use of all Company owned property, tools, and equipment, including PPE, power equipment, voice equipment, etc.
Promotes and maintains a clean and safe work environment
Promotes safety at all times and reports safety violations to the appropriate DC Supervisor and/or Area Manager
Conducts duties in compliance with OSHA and MSDS safety standards and location specific policies, paying special attention to pedestrian/equipment traffic
Communicates problems/concerns, especially regarding safety, security, building control, or personnel, to the appropriate DC Supervisor and/or Area Manager
As instructed by leadership, utilize experience, training, and skills to effectively operate and assist within multiple operational areas on the operating floor based on the needs of the department, facility, and Company

Waving and tasking experience with a Tier 1 WMS
Functional subject matter expert for more than one area of WMS directed processes
Advanced experience with operational reporting tools including development, execution, and maintenance using queries, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and other software applications
Strong interest and abilities in data mining and retrieval, organization, analysis, and directional presentation of results
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business manuals and instructions
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, propose resolutions, and communicate the outcome to the appropriate operational partners and site leadership
Frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing, pulling of freight, standing for long periods of time and sometimes working in extreme temperatures
Qualifications

The estimated hiring pay range has been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential.
