We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Patient Coordinator to join our dental team. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming patient experience while managing front office operations, scheduling, communication, and administrative support. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility and assist with benefit coordination
- Collect patient information, consent forms, and payments
- Maintain accurate patient records and update account information
- Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements as needed
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with clinical staff
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and text reminders
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Support office operations and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental insurance and scheduling software preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude

- Experience with dental practice management software
