DD4K - Sioux Falls - Front Desk Patient Coordinator

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Patient Coordinator to join our dental team. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming patient experience while managing front office operations, scheduling, communication, and administrative support. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
  • Verify insurance eligibility and assist with benefit coordination
  • Collect patient information, consent forms, and payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update account information
  • Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements as needed
  • Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with clinical staff
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and text reminders
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
  • Support office operations and administrative tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous dental or medical front office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and scheduling software preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Basic computer and data entry skills
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with dental practice management software
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
  • Experience handling insurance verification and patient collections preferred
