Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bilingual (English-Spanish) Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. This role requires a professional with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient well-being. Prior experience with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, is preferred. The DDS will collaborate with a team of dental professionals to deliver exceptional oral health services in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental extractions, coronectomy, bone grafting and oral surgery.
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Utilize dental imaging techniques and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a sterile environment.
  • Use dental fabrication tools and techniques for prosthetic restorations as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care using appropriate dental terminology.
  • Maintain detailed medical records and ensure all documentation adheres to legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient care processes and outcomes.
  • Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and related fields to enhance clinical skills.
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing effective communication with a large Latino patient population and ensuring high-quality patient care, education, and trust.

Skills

  • Proficiency in dental software systems (Eaglesoft).
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices.
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery procedures is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform crownn, dental extractions, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other complex procedures.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry.
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team using four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal patient comfort and workflow efficiency.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of aseptic technique and infection control protocols. Pay: $100.00 - $150.00 per hour
