What you get to do:

Provide administrative support for project managers, including preparation and maintenance of master project agreements, contractor invoices, preliminary notices, lien waiver tracking, insurance documentation (CertFocus), contractor badge requests, and contractor pre-qualifications.

Perform accounting tasks such as retention accounting, project close-out accounting, submitting check requests, completing project write-offs as requested by project managers, and performing monthly accruals.

Conduct quarterly detailed checklists for major projects.

Track park assets, including the addition and removal of assets for SeaWorld San Diego and Sesame Place San Diego.

Perform asset classifications for all projects in D&E.

Complete capital project processes in SAP.

Compile, prepare, and track all accrual documents related to capital investments.

Maintain organization of project binders, including project binders, approved project papers, and closing papers.
What it takes to succeed:

Experience in construction, procurement, contract administration, or finance preferred

Strong written/verbal communication skills; able to read, write and speak English.

Ability to track and reconcile multiple projects with detail and accuracy, including addressing tax issues.

Proficient in calculating figures such as proportions, percentages, and applying concepts of algebra.

Strong ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from team members, customers, regulatory agencies, or contractors.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.

Ability to ensure accurate follow-through on all aspects of contract compliance in accordance with corporate legal and capital project controls and procedures.

Valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a park license.
Compensation - $22/hr - $25/hr
