Position Summary:

The Dealer Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to support the needs of our dealer network. This role is key to enhancing dealer marketing efforts by providing customized digital and print marketing materials, coordinating brand consistency, and facilitating effective communication between the company and its dealers. A critical part of this role is to ensure that Link-Belt remains top-of-mind for dealers with multiple product lines by equipping them with strong, strategic marketing support that highlights the brand’s unique value. Additionally, this role will assist with dealer events, such as open houses and regional trade shows, and work closely with dealers to maximize the use of their co-op dollars. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Material Development:
    • Design and create customized marketing materials for dealers, including advertisements, point-of-sale materials, digital assets, and promotional content tailored to local markets.
    • Collaborate with the marketing communications team to ensure all materials align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate key messages.
    • Work directly with dealers to understand their marketing needs and develop tailored solutions that drive results.
  • Digital Marketing Support:
    • Assist dealers in optimizing their digital presence, including website content, social media, and email campaigns.
    • Guide SEO best practices, online initiatives, and digital content strategies.
    • Analyze digital marketing performance and provide insights and recommendations to dealers for continuous improvement.
  • Dealer Event Support:
    • Assist dealers with planning and executing events such as open houses, regional trade shows, and equipment demonstrations.
    • Work with Marketing Communications Specialists to provide branded marketing materials such as banners, brochures, product displays, and giveaways tailored to the event.
    • Help ensure Link-Belt has a consistent and compelling presence at events, reinforcing its positioning among competing brands.
  • Co-Op Program Assistance:
    • Work with dealers to optimize the use of their co-op dollars.
    • Guide eligible expenses, program rules, and strategies to maximize ROI on co-op-funded initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Communications Specialist to ensure dealers have accurate information on co-op claims and available funds.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for dealer marketing inquiries, providing prompt and professional support.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers to better understand their challenges and opportunities.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure dealer marketing initiatives align with company objectives.
  • Travel Expectations:

    This position requires up to 40% overnight travel for dealer visits and events using different modes of transportation (auto, plane, etc.).

    Working Conditions:

    This position requires sitting for extended periods while working at a computer station. Work also involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, hearing, talking, and lifting (up to 20 pounds).   • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably within a dealer or distributor network environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media and content marketing.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot), Email and Social Media Marketing Tools (Constant Contact, Sprout Social)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
