Position Summary
Position: Dealer Trade Driver
Hourly Rate: $16.90
The Dealer Trade Driver is responsible for safely transporting vehicles between dealerships as part of inter‑dealer trades. This role requires professionalism, punctuality, attention to detail, and safe driving practices while representing the dealership in a positive manner at all times. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Safely transport dealership vehicles to and from other dealerships and designated locations
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any damage or issues immediately
- Ensure all required paperwork (dealer trade forms, delivery receipts, VIN verification, etc.) is completed accurately
- Maintain clear communication with Sales Management regarding delivery status and timelines
- Follow all traffic laws, company driving policies, and safety procedures
- Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with other dealerships and vendors
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record (insurable per company standards)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong awareness of safety and attention to detail
