Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dealership Parts Manager to oversee the procurement, inventory, and distribution of automotive parts within our dealership. The ideal candidate will possess strong supply chain management skills, automotive knowledge, and leadership abilities to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise and strategic planning are essential for success.

Duties

  • Manage the entire parts department, including inventory control, order processing, and logistics coordination
  • Oversee procurement activities, sourcing OEM parts, and negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms
  • Utilize ERP systems, order management systems, and CMMS software to track inventory levels, sales data, and equipment maintenance
  • Coordinate with automotive service and repair teams to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs such as auto body repair and HVAC systems
  • Maintain accurate data entry related to inventory, pricing, demand planning, and shipping & receiving processes
  • Implement warehouse management best practices, including forklift operation and equipment repair when necessary
  • Monitor supply chain performance metrics and develop strategies for demand planning and procurement management
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards related to warehouse experience and equipment operation
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting internal departments and external clients with parts sourcing and order management

Requirements

  • Proven experience in dealership parts management or automotive supply chain roles
  • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, automotive repair processes, and OEM parts sourcing
  • Familiarity with systems inventory management software
  • Experience with warehouse management, shipping & receiving, procurement management, and logistics coordination
  • Mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems, HVAC units, auto body repair equipment, and general equipment repair
  • Proficiency in negotiation, pricing strategies, demand planning, and sourcing techniques
  • Ability to operate forklifts safely; warehouse experience preferred
  • Skilled in data entry and inventory control procedures using auto parts order management systems
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in purchasing, procurement management, and supplier management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
