Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dealership Parts Manager to lead our parts department with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the parts department, including inventory management, order processing, and shipping & receiving activities.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure timely procurement and delivery of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts while maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors through negotiation, sourcing, and supplier management to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Utilize ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, order management systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and AS400 platforms to streamline inventory control, data entry, and procurement workflows.
- Oversee warehouse management tasks such as forklift operation, equipment repair, shipping logistics, and warehouse experience to maintain a safe and efficient storage environment.
- Coordinate with automotive service teams to support automotive diagnostics, auto body repair, HVAC systems, and mechanical repairs by ensuring parts availability.
- Monitor demand planning metrics to forecast needs accurately and optimize procurement strategies aligned with dealership sales trends.
- Lead efforts in inventory control by conducting regular audits, managing pricing strategies, and implementing best practices for purchasing and sourcing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and maintaining positive relationships with dealership departments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dealership parts management or automotive supply chain roles with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, auto body repair, HVAC systems, and OEM parts.
- Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, procurement management, negotiation skills, and vendor relationship building.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, order management systems, CMMS platforms, AS400 software, and inventory management tools.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations including forklift certification, shipping & receiving procedures, equipment repair, and warehouse safety protocols.
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair processes is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, inventory control, demand planning, and pricing strategies.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer service mindset to support internal teams effectively.

Pay: $54,755.05 - $150,000.00 per year
