Duties

• Remove debris such as fallen branches, trash, and other materials from designated areas to promote safety and aesthetics
• Clear land by using hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other machinery to prepare sites for construction or landscaping projects
• Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, trimming, aerating, and fertilizing to ensure vibrant and healthy turf
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning trees and shrubs, and installing or repairing irrigation systems
• Operate equipment such as excavators, power tools, lawn mowers, snow plows (seasonally), and tree care tools with precision and safety in mind
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth while ensuring safety around structures or pathways
• Assist with hardscape installation projects like patios or walkways by preparing surfaces and laying materials with care

Qualifications

• Prior experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or construction work is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is highly valued
• Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment including hand tools, power tools, excavators, and irrigation systems
• Familiarity with horticulture principles and gardening practices to support plant health and landscape aesthetics
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators safely and effectively on various terrains
• Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and disease management
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor tasks for extended periods
• Excellent attention to safety protocols when handling equipment or working around potentially hazardous materials

Pay: $120.00 - $150.00 per day
