Debur hand/Machinist Helper

We need an experienced deburr hand/part polisher.

Must have at least 1 year experience in machine shop environment.

You would be polishing parts on an engine lathe with sandpaper and scotch-bright.

Removing sharp edges on milled slots using a pencil die grinder.

Benching sharp edges and polish out scratches on aircraft parts.

Buffing parts on a bench grinder. Chamfering holes to deburr sharp edges.

Cleaning parts by rinsing them out in solvent.

Boxing parts up for shipment or moving to next operation.

Strong attention to detail and quality.

Identify and report any defective parts or questionable condition to supervisor.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
