At Legacy Decks, we create high-end outdoor living spaces—decks, screen rooms, roofs, fireplaces, patios and more—that transform the way families live outside. We’re looking for a Designer/CAD Specialist to join our team and help us deliver projects with precision, creativity, and excellence.
What You’ll Do
- Create accurate CAD drawings and layouts for decks and outdoor living projects.
- Develop 3D renderings and video walkthroughs to help clients visualize their space.
- Support sales by participating in showroom design meetings with clients.
- Research product offerings and provide updated supply parameters for design use.
- Produce detailed material take-offs to hand off to estimating and project management.
- Build and maintain a visual library of imagery, CAD models, and templates for efficiency and consistency.
- Prepare professional presentation packages that showcase the design and bring client ideas to life.
- Collaborate with sales consultants and project managers to ensure every design is buildable and accurate.
- Support Production and Build teams in executing your design and CAD's
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience with CAD software (SketchUp preferred; AutoCAD or similar accepted).
- Ability to create accurate 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and video walkthroughs. (Lumion, V-Ray or similiar)
- Strong attention to detail—mistakes in drawings cost time and money.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in construction or outdoor living design is a plus.
- Someone who enjoys thinking out side the box but also knows code!

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
