Deck Service Technician

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Deck Service Technician, where you’ll be a part of exterior cleaning, painting, carpentry, and renovation projects. Duties

• Operate power washing equipment to clean building exteriors, sidewalks, decks, and other surfaces efficiently and safely
• Assist with preparation and application of paint using hand tools and airless spray equipment on residential and commercial projects
• Support carpentry tasks such as trim installation, framing, caulking, and basic fixture setup under supervision
• Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project scope and specifications
• Participate in renovation and restoration projects including plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and drywall finishing
• Use hand tools and power tools skillfully for various maintenance, repair, and construction tasks
• Gain experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and material measurement
• Contribute to construction site safety protocols while maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic about learning multiple trades including painting, carpentry, masonry, and restoration techniques
• Basic math skills for measurements, estimations, and calculations required in construction tasks
• Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, saws or willingness to learn their proper use
• Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work safely on construction sites
• Prior handyman or construction site experience is a plus but not required—training will be provided
• Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy materials, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential
