Dedicated Corporate Travel Consultant

Acendas Travel has a dedicated, remote travel consultant opening for one of our corporate clients.

Job Summary

The Dedicated Corporate Travel Consultant provides quality customer service to one of Acendas Travel's corporate clients. The role is responsible for completing domestic and/or international reservations, while accurately managing all travel requests, and following the appropriate process and procedures. This individual must be a self-directed and technology-driven team player.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include

  • Respond to client requests and inquiries for the dedicated client through multiple channels such as phone, email, text/SMS or online booking tool.
  • Utilize GDS queues, scripts and programmable keys to successfully schedule flight, hotel accommodations, car, rail, and limo services.
  • Offer solutions and options that meet all travel requirements while ensuring compliance with the company’s travel policy and maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Create clear and concise itineraries which include all pertinent information.
  • Communicate necessary documentation requirements such as passports, visas, or other clearances required for international travel.
  • Utilize instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Update traveler profiles as needed.
  • Partner with the organization in promoting, implementing, and supporting adherence to the company’s travel policy.
  • Completes special projects, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school degree; required, college experience, a plus.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ recent corporate travel experience required; travel agent or similar capacity required.
  • Advanced working knowledge of corporate travel technology products, GDS (Sabre), Online Booking Tool (Concur); required.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; required

Core hours are Monday-Friday 9am-6pm Central Time
