As a Dedicated Operations team member, you will ensure operational excellence through supporting both internal and external customers and carriers. You will do this by quoting loads as needed, building loads, building carrier relationships, tracking and tracing shipments, making appointments, booking loads, entering shipment data, maintaining the team load board, and communicating to help resolve issues. You will also ensure on time departures/arrivals, provide excellent service to our customers and carriers, and be willing to go above and beyond for clients and carriers as needed.

You want an opportunity that comes with growthMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related fieldKey Responsibilities

  • Handle incoming load builds/posts for spot freight, work directly with Account Executive on contracted lanes or future opportunities
  • Manage the board to ensure loads are being booked, AEs have the information to ensure clients are being updated, loads are being closed out, and problems are communicated to the respectable parties (manager, clients, team members)
  • Report foreseeable or ongoing issues that may cause service failures to the Account Manager or Account Executive
  • Collect proof of delivery (POD) to ensure load can successfully be closed out Communicate load updates, load builds, and other team communications via Teams, Revenova, and Email.
  • Work directly with the Account Manager or Account Executive to learn and develop a game plan around key lanes that cultivates capacity to service all freight opportunities
  • Reply to emails promptly and act when needed.
  • Provide a superior level of service through response time, availability, professionalism, and rapport building.
  • Seek carriers to cover freight via the phone, email, and postings, while building carrier relationships to handle repeat lanes and geographical zones.
  • Cover un-booked freight and track and trace loads until completion
  • Handle lumpers, detention, and other accessorial fees, Qualify and setup compliant carriers
  • Quote spot loads as needed or assigned by AE, source options, follow up on carrier options, solicit feedback, and learn how to win the freight on the carrier side
  • Knowledgeable on all company software and website platforms (i.e., Revenova, Sylectus, Carrier411, DAT Power, etc.)
  • Be professional in the way you interact with your colleagues and managers
  • Other Duties as Assigned or Requested

Compensation

  • $45,000 Salary
  • $500 Commission after 90 Days
  • Health Care Benefits after 90 Days
