Deli / Barista Team Member – Long-Term | Due Focacceria

THE ROLE

Every team member at due starts on the Deli — learning our food, our standards, our rhythm, and our guests. When you're ready, you'll move into a Barista role behind the bar. We promote from within. We develop from within. That progression is how we do it here.

This is a long-term position. We're building a team — not filling a schedule.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Starting on Deli:

• Craft beautiful sandwiches, plates, and focaccia with care and consistency
• Welcome guests warmly — we host the way we'd host in our own home
• Maintain a clean, organized, and high-performing station
• Operate with speed and precision during busy service periods
• Be part of a team that holds each other to a high standard — without ego

As You Grow into Barista:

• Pull espresso, pour drinks, and connect with guests at the bar
• Become the face of the Due piazza experience
• Help train and support newer team members

We need to be upfront about what this job requires. This is a professional commitment, not a flexible-around-your-life role. We respect your time; we ask you to respect ours. We have filled our seasonal hires and now looking for our long term team members.

This position requires:

• Availability for both morning AND evening shifts
• Availability on weekends and holidays — these are our busiest times
• Reliability through the summer — we cannot accommodate extended summer vacations
• A long-term commitment — we are not hiring seasonal or temporary positions
• This role is not a fit for students returning to college in the fall

If you have summer conflicts, fall school plans, or need a schedule built around another primary commitment — this is not the right fit, and that's okay. We'd rather be honest now so we respect your time.

Pay: $21.95 - $29.43 per hour
