Location: Lincoln City McKay’s Market

Job Duties:

Employees will perform a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

1. Manage the deli department in an efficient and profitable manner

2. Control inventory, labor, expenses, productivity, and sanitation in accordance with company goals and standards

3. Checking in and separating freight loads, stocking shelves, facing, and cleaning the department

4. Prep and prepare hot and cold food items for sale using portion control and measuring standards.

5. Knowledge of proper storage and service of hot and cold items

6. Maintain a pleasant and cheerful demeanor while working with fellow employees and waiting on customers

Required Skills/Abilities:

1. Self-motivated

2. Flexible

3. Ability to multitask and prioritize daily department

4. Equipment use: meat slicer, oven, dishwasher, convection or bakery ovens, fryer, food processor, and small wares

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, twist, kneel, reach, push, pull using proper body mechanics, and move/lift varying amounts of weight to a maximum of 75 lbs.
