Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and courier vehicles to deliver packages and supplies to various locations following designated routes
• Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures
• Assist with moving items within the warehouse or office space as needed, maintaining organization and cleanliness
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries by communicating clearly and professionally with clients
• Manage route driving schedules efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards
• Support office tasks such as filing, data entry, inventory management, and answering phone calls to ensure smooth administrative operations
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and warehouse stock levels for accountability and reporting purposes

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving or courier roles with a strong focus on route driving efficiency
• Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients and team members
• Warehouse experience including loading/unloading, heavy lifting, moving items, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving and manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Ability to operate a box truck or similar vehicle safely over long routes and varied terrains
• Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols for moving large or bulky items
• Knowledge of load securing methods, route planning, and time management for efficient deliveries
