Delivery Associate

Job Title: Delivery Associate – Hardware Materials

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, secure, and deliver hardware materials and supplies to designated locations according to delivery schedules.
• Verify delivery documents (invoices, delivery notes) for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure safe handling and transportation of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Maintain delivery logs, fuel receipts, and route information.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials when required.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license (commercial license preferred for larger vehicles).
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably in hardware, construction, or logistics.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Basic record-keeping and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with GPS and route optimization tools.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and material handling.

Work Environment:

• Frequent driving and loading/unloading materials.
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and construction sites.
• May involve occasional overtime or weekend deliveries.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹7,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
