Job Overview

The Delivery Team is responsible for all deliveries related to Social Llama Events and Social Llama Rentals under the guidance of the Delivery Team Lead. This includes delivering, installing, setting up, and tearing down event rental items, as well as on-site installation of custom-designed large activations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review “Daily Tasks” whiteboard upon arrival each morning, to be completed by EOD.
  • Check off tasks when complete
  • Complete before leaving for the day
  • Update manager if any tasks did not get completed and why
  • Review all picked inventory for that day, based on the printed picklist hanging on the “picklist wall”
  • Notify Delivery Team Lead if all items accounted for, or if anything is missing.
  • Assist the Team Lead with loading/unloading the truck at events and striking after the
  • event.
  • Ensure all rental items are wrapped and secured properly before leaving/returning to
  • the warehouse.
  • Consult with the Delivery Team Lead on installation to ensure preparedness for on-site execution.
  • Advise the Delivery Team Lead of any missing or damaged items.
  • Review scheduling, routing, and picklist with the Delivery Team Lead before every order
  • Meet weekly with manager and delivery team lead to review upcoming orders
  • Clock-in/out at SLE HQ
  • If you need to submit a time clock request, you must include a note explaining the reason for time adjustment or why clock-in/out was not at SLE HQ.
  • Review your timesheet and ensure hours are accurate before Tuesday

On-site Responsibilities:

  • Review load-in and placement with Delivery Team Lead.
  • Maintain professional appearance, wearing SLE uniform and good personal hygiene
  • Maintain a good attitude, hustle, and perseverance.
  • Ensure trucks and tools are well-maintained.
  • Alert the Delivery Team Lead of any issues with tools or trucks.
  • Keep trucks in optimum condition, including removing trash, sweeping the back, and
  • washing.
  • Remove all trash at the end of each daily shift
  • Replenish any truck supplies and toolkits after every install/strike as needed

Team Collaboration

  • Assist other departments as needed or assigned on warehouse work days (creative production department, paint, warehouse team)

Non-Negotiables:

  • Wear SLE branded uniform to all installs and strikes
  • Complete SLE Delivery/Installation 101 Training
  • Good attitude, polite and respectful
  • Always arrive on time as listed in schedule. Being late will result in disciplinary action.
  • Always a good idea to be a few minutes early!
  • Wrapping all rentals items at strike
  • Communicate any problems, concerns, feedback and successes with direct manager to ensure team operates effectively and efficiently
  • Ensure proper security of warehouse, trucks, and SLE owned property. Lock up and check locks before leaving for the evening.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Clear driving record
  • Ability to lift 80+ pounds
  • Located in the DFW area

Pay: $18.00 per hour
