Delivery Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily delivery routes, optimizing for efficiency and timely deliveries
• Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate pickup and drop-off times
• Monitor delivery progress throughout the day, providing support to drivers as needed
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded and unloaded safely using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual lifting techniques
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, delivery times, and any discrepancies
• Assist in training new drivers on route procedures, safety protocols, and company policies
• Handle customer inquiries related to delivery status with professionalism and a positive attitude

Requirements

• Ability to comunicate in Spanish.
• Proven experience in delivery driver roles or courier services with a focus on route driving and customer service
• Warehouse experience including loading/unloading goods, heavy lifting, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or vehicles with manual transmissions is preferred
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards for heavy lifting and moving operations
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple routes efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate between drivers, warehouse teams, and customers
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as manual lifting and moving heavy items safely
