Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and organized Delivery Coordinator to oversee daily delivery operations. This role involves coordinating routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving, warehouse operations, and handling heavy loads, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The Delivery Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth logistical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily delivery routes to optimize efficiency and timeliness
• Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling as required
• Operate box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual transmissions for route driving
• Safely load, secure, and transport products to various customer locations
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any concerns professionally
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
• Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management when not on delivery routes
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during all operations

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or route driving
• Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
• Warehouse experience including loading, unloading, and inventory handling
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmission
• Familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks is a plus
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and moving items regularly
• Excellent organizational skills for route planning and time management
• Valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent required
• Experience with heavy lifting equipment and safety protocols preferred
• Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail
