Delivery & Donation Pickup Contractor (Must own Full Size Cargo Van, Pickup Truck, or Trailer)

Haul Buddy, www.haulbuddy.com, is seeking reliable and professional independent contractors to join our network for on-demand delivery and donation pickup services. As a Delivery & Donation Pickup Independent Contractor, you will use your own vehicle (Full Size Cargo Van (RAM ProMaster, Ford Transit, etc) preferred, open/enclosed trailer, or pickup truck) and equipment to transport household goods, including furniture, appliances, and other items. This is a flexible, gig-based opportunity where you accept jobs at your convenience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver household items, including furniture, appliances, and other goods, from residential and commercial locations.
• Safely load and unload items, ensuring they are properly secured to prevent damage during transport.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicating professionally and courteously with clients.
• Navigate to various locations efficiently and punctually to meet job timelines.
• Manage your own schedule and accept jobs through our platform.

Requirements:

• Must be an independent contractor with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Must own and operate a suitable and well-maintained vehicle, preferably a Cargo Van, or an open/enclosed trailer or pickup truck.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items, with the capacity to lift between 50-75 lbs.
• Must provide your own professional moving equipment, including but not limited to:
• Furniture blankets
• Shrink wrap
• Hand truck
• Flat dolly
• Ratchet Straps
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A smartphone with reliable coverage to use our job-dispatching application.

Compensation:

• Pay is per job/load, with earnings ranging between $30 - $60 per load.
• Most jobs are estimated to take approximately one hour to complete, offering a high hourly earning potential.

This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee role. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.
