Delivery Driver

Core Delivery Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver goods to customers promptly and safely
• Load and unload packages from the vehicle with care
• Verify delivery information, including addresses and contact details
• Obtain delivery confirmations such as signatures or electronic proof of delivery

Navigation & Route Management

• Plan delivery routes to optimize time and fuel efficiency
• Use GPS or route navigation apps to find the best routes
• Adapt routes in response to traffic, weather, or road closures

Recordkeeping & Communication

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and update records for deliveries made
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, or supervisors regarding delivery status or delays
• Report vehicle issues or delivery incidents in a timely manner

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Inspect vehicle regularly to ensure it is in safe operating condition
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Report any mechanical problems and schedule maintenance as needed

Customer Service

• Greet customers courteously and handle deliveries in a professional manner
• Answer questions about deliveries or escalate issues to appropriate personnel
• Handle complaints or delays with a calm and solution-focused attitude

with UAE DRIVING LICENSE
