Delivery Driver (Independent Contractor) – Premium Meal Delivery

Schedule: Sundays and Wednesdays
Pay: $24-27/hour

ACKitchen is seeking a professional and detail-oriented delivery driver to transport handcrafted organic meals to clients throughout Connecticut and New York.

This is not a typical food delivery role. ACKitchen provides a premium, personalized nutrition service, and our drivers represent the brand when interacting with clients. We are looking for someone who is punctual, organized, communicative, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality experience.

Meals are prepared in Boston and transported in a refrigerated delivery van provided by ACKitchen.

Responsibilities

• Pick up prepared meals from the ACKitchen facility in the Boston area
• Load and transport meals in a refrigerated delivery van
• Complete a Boston → Connecticut → New York delivery route
• Deliver meals carefully and professionally to clients
• Communicate with clients when necessary regarding delivery timing or access
• Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure each delivery is accurate
• Provide a high level of professionalism and customer service
• Communicate with the ACKitchen team throughout the route
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized during shifts

Schedule

• Two days per week: Sunday and Wednesday
• Morning departure from Boston with same-day completion of deliveries

Compensation

• $24-27 per hour
• Independent contractor (1099)

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Comfortable driving long distances (Boston → CT → NY route)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to lift delivery bags or boxes (up to ~40 lbs)
• Smartphone for navigation and communication
• Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred
