This is an exciting opportunity to become a part of a well-known and established Glass Manufacturing and Fabrication company.

This role is part of an expansion of Tacoma Glass Manufacturing into Utah under the name of Utah Glass Manufacturing. The company currently has 5 locations and will begin operations in Utah mid 2024 as it expands into the Rocky Mountain area. Utah Glass will follow the philosophy of Safety, Quality, and Local Service. Our products range from; insulated glass units, fabricated glass, mirrors, stock glass and custom laminated glass. Our company has a management team that is committed to upholding core values of safety, quality, and service.

Job Description Summary

Our Delivery Driver will work face to face with our customers to ensure the very best experience and the very best service levels. They will be a key liaison to our valued customers as they serve them weekly/daily while delivering our quality products to their business. This position requires the ability to provide personalized experience, great communication and follow-through. A key success factor in this role is a positive “can do” attitude. This role will also require the ability to collaborate with coworkers in our close plant environment. You will enjoy the opportunity to deliver locally on a daily basis and still return home each night. This is a great opportunity for a Class A CDL driver who enjoys customer interaction and helps to secure business through relationships.

Responsibilities

Primary daily tasks include:

· Creating positive customer experiences where each are provided the best possible service and enjoy long lasting relationships

· Deliver to multiple customer locations daily, unloading product at each location and tracking accuracy and quality.

· Answering customers’ questions, resolving their concerns and providing additional information by coordinating with the local Utah Glass team

· Maintain a professional image for the company in actions, cleanliness of equipment, functionality of equipment, and safety

· Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed as part of the Utah Glass Team

Requirements

· Possess a current Class A CDL license with an excellent driving record and understand the responsibility of that license and maintain qualifications/records

· Ability to route and navigate daily deliveries for efficiency and meeting customer schedules

· Physical ability to load and unload at delivery points alone and with customers

· The ability and positive experience operating like size delivery trucks that will have attached bumper towed trailers

• Typical vehicle will be 4500 Dodge or F-450 Ford or similar trucks with an attached enclosed trailer to protect glass products during delivery

· Customer Service mindset and passion to serve them with an ability to be a part of a cohesive team

· Ability to communicate effectively with customers and follow through on resolution of any outstanding items

· Ability to read/write instructions and communicate effectively with team members

· Requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

· Be self motivated and self supervised while on the road the majority of each work day

· Glass or building industry experience is a plus
