Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks cargo vans, and other commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo using manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
• Interact with customers in a courteous, professional manner, addressing questions or concerns with enthusiasm and clarity.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any issues encountered during routes.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, moving goods, and operating commercial vehicles to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications

- Must be 21 years of age

-Must be able to pass background check

-Must have active drivers license

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with a strong understanding of route driving and load management.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required depending on vehicle type.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely; previous experience with heavy lifting, moving, or warehouse work is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills; able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills for route planning, load management, and record keeping.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
