Delivery Driver

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.

Duties:
- Safely drive company vehicles to deliver goods and products to customers
- Load and unload items from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or hand trucks
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
- Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery and obtain necessary signatures or documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating company vehicles
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns promptly
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organizing shipments

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to operate various types of delivery vehicles, such as box trucks or tractor-trailers
- Proficient in using navigation systems to plan routes and navigate efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading
