Delivery Driver – Fresh Produce (Cold Chain / Mushrooms)

We are seeking a reliable, professional Delivery Driver to join our team transporting fresh mushrooms in a temperature-controlled cold chain environment. This role is about more than getting products from point A to point B. The right candidate takes pride in accuracy, understands the importance of product quality, and represents our brand well at every customer stop.

Position Summary
As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of fresh mushrooms to customers while maintaining strict cold chain standards. You will also manage delivery paperwork with a high level of attention to detail and serve as a positive, professional point of contact for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a refrigerated delivery vehicle and complete scheduled routes on time
• Maintain cold chain integrity to protect the freshness, quality, and food safety of mushroom shipments
• Verify orders before departure and at delivery to ensure accuracy in product counts, quantities, and condition
• Complete delivery paperwork, logs, temperature records, invoices, and proof-of-delivery documents accurately and neatly
• Inspect shipments and report discrepancies, damages, or temperature issues promptly
• Load and unload product carefully to prevent damage and preserve quality
• Communicate professionally with customers at delivery locations and provide excellent service
• Represent the company as a brand ambassador through punctuality, professionalism, and courteous interactions
• Keep vehicle clean, organized, and in compliance with company and safety standards
• Follow all DOT, food safety, company, and customer delivery procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Strong attention to detail, especially when handling delivery paperwork, invoices, logs, and product counts
• A customer-service mindset and the ability to build trust with customers through professional, friendly interactions
• Understanding of the importance of refrigerated transport and product handling for perishable goods
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively on a delivery route
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures
• Strong communication skills and a problem-solving attitude
• Ability to lift and move product safely and repeatedly throughout the day

Preferred Qualifications

• CDL or other licensing not required - we are willing to sponsor this training if the candidate is exceptional in their work ethic and ability
• Experience with cold chain transportation
• Familiarity with delivery documentation, route logs, and proof-of-delivery processes
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
• DOT medical card

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
