Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to customers or business locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, time management, and a strong focus on customer service to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver packages, goods, or food items to customers in a timely manner
• Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules
• Load, unload, and handle items with care
• Verify delivery details such as address, contact information, and order accuracy
• Collect payments or obtain delivery confirmations when required
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with customers
• Perform basic vehicle checks and ensure cleanliness and maintenance
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety guidelines
• Report delays, accidents, or issues to management promptly
  
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid driving license (appropriate for vehicle type)
• Proven experience as a delivery driver is preferred
• Good knowledge of local roads and routes
• Ability to use GPS devices or mobile apps for navigation
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Basic communication skills
