Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience with route driving, warehouse operations, and operating commercial vehicles such as box trucks. A strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to handle physical tasks are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver products to customers and clients across designated routes
• Load and unload goods using manual lifting techniques
• Ensure accurate loading and secure transportation of items to prevent damage during transit
• Follow planned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
• Maintain delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and stock organization
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no temporary license)
• Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable
• Experience operating box trucks is a plus
• Ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes and equipment
• Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
• Knowledge of route driving and traffic regulations in the local area
• Warehouse experience is beneficial for handling inventory and loading tasks
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
