We are looking for a responsible Delivery Driver to distribute mailers and print products promptly to our customers and USPS locations. Local/in-town deliveries are made first thing in the morning or around 3pm and longer trips are made in the late morning/early afternoon. We have overtime opportunities in the mail and bindery departments that you can work in before or after deliveries have been completed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Follow routes and deadlines
- Every delivery must be on time and accounted for
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance of the vehicles including alignments, oil changes, getting tires patched, etc..
Skills
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate forklifts and large vehicles in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with no traffic violations
- High school degree or GED minimum
