Job Description

A-1 Appliance, Bedding & Furniture is seeking a dependable, motivated Delivery Driver to join our growing team. We are a family-owned company proudly serving the New Orleans area since 1955.

This position involves delivering appliances, furniture, mattresses, and adjustable bases to customers’ homes while providing outstanding customer service and professional installations.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and deliver merchandise
• Install appliances and furniture in customers’ homes
• Operate company delivery trucks safely and professionally
• Inspect merchandise before delivery for damage or defects
• Communicate professionally with customers and store staff
• Follow company delivery and safety procedures
• Maintain clean delivery vehicles and work areas

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise daily
• Appliance installation experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
• Must be dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
• Team player with positive attitude
• Must pass background check and drug screening
