Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate efficiently through assigned routes. This is an OTR ( over the road) job!! Driving from State to State.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including those with manual transmission.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items.
• Follow designated routes and schedules for timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any issues encountered during transit.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including moving items and operating pallet jacks.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently.
• Experience in moving, courier services, or warehouse operations is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands.
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and practices is advantageous.
