Delivery Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles along designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Deliver packages promptly and accurately to commercial customers, ensuring proper handling of all items.
• Communicate clearly with customers to confirm delivery details, answer questions, and provide exceptional service.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route sheets, and documentation of deliveries made throughout each shift.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and proper functioning of the vehicle.
• Upsell additional products or services when appropriate, enhancing customer satisfaction and sales opportunities, as well as continually finding new customers.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred.
• Strong math skills for calculating pricing, measurements, and route planning.
• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely as part of daily duties.
• Organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and route efficiency.
• Prior experience in sales or upselling techniques is a plus.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating box trucks and vans is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
