Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate different types of vehicles, including those with manual transmission. Occasional warehouse assistance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including commercial trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of items.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and any discrepancies encountered during transport.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to avoid injury.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems for efficient delivery planning.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is an advantage.
• Must be able to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of daily responsibilities.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
