Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a professional with strong driving skills, experience operating transit vans and box trucks, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items. The Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting our logistics operations.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles for route driving and deliveries
• Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling as needed
• Deliver products to customers efficiently while adhering to scheduled routes
• Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
• Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory and organizing stock
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before and after routes
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or similar role with route driving responsibilities
• Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual transmission vehicles preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with clients
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks such as moving items and heavy lifting regularly
• Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with load & unload procedures
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and warehouse operations
• Reliable transportation to reach the starting location of routes
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
