Job Title: Newspaper Delivery Driver
Status: Part-Time (1 day per week)
Location: 2 Locations Available - Freestone and Navarro County
About the Role
The Newspaper Delivery Driver plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate distribution of newspapers to our customers, vendors, and community partners. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, punctual, and enjoys working independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick up newspapers from the designated location at scheduled times.
- Deliver newspapers along an established route to homes, businesses, or distribution racks.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
- Maintain delivery records as required.
- Communicate any delivery issues, delays, or route concerns to supervisors.
- Handle newspapers with care to ensure products arrive in good condition.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle suitable for newspaper transport.
- Ability to lift and carry bundles of newspapers (up to 30 lbs).
- Strong time-management skills and punctuality.
- Ability to follow established routes and adapt to weather conditions.
- Dependability and the ability to work early mornings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous delivery or route-driving experience.
- Familiarity with the local area.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
