Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver to transport aftermarket collision auto parts to customers in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining vehicle safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery of Auto Parts

• Safely and efficiently operate a high roof van or Box trucks to deliver aftermarket collision auto parts.
• Follow designated delivery routes to maximize and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Handle and load auto parts with care to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify the accuracy of delivered items against invoices and promptly report any discrepancies.

Payment Collection

• Collect payments and signatures from customers upon delivery in accordance with company guidelines and protocols.
• Handle cash and checks securely, ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions.
• Immediately report any discrepancies to the proper department.

Customer Service

• Interact with customers in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner, maintaining a positive image for the company.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns regarding deliveries or payments, or escalate issues as necessary.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections to confirm proper working condition.
• Report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Follow all traffic laws while operating the vehicle.

Record-Keeping

• Maintain accurate records of delivery routes, payment transactions, and mileage.
• Submit all required delivery and payment reports to the designated department in a timely manner.

Vehicle Safety

• Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
• Always wear a seatbelt and ensure the vehicle’s safety features are functional.
• Maintain a safe following distance and adjust driving behavior according to weather and road conditions.
• Avoid distracted driving, including texting or using a mobile phone.
• Conduct regular vehicle safety checks and report any issues immediately.

Loading and Unloading Safety

• Safely load and unload auto parts using proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
• Secure all items within the delivery vehicle to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves and safety glasses, when required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 and over
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Prior experience in auto parts delivery or logistics preferred but not required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Schedule:

· Monday through Friday (Some Saturday’s may be required)

· 40-hour work week (Some overtime may be available as needed)
