Delivery Driver - CONTRACTOR

WPL is a successful logistics / courier company. We are looking for Independent Delivery Service Partners (contract drivers) in the Denver, Ft. Collins, and Colorado Springs, CO area to join our expanding team! Routes are primarily Monday through Friday and consist of parcels and totes.

You MUST own or lease your own delivery vehicle / mini-van. Vehicles must be reliable and professional in appearance as deliveries are made on behalf of a variety of clients and businesses.

This is a 1099 position (self-employed)

Pay: $250-$300 per day

REQUIREMENTS:

Must provide:

• Own vehicle
• Fuel
• Vehicle Insurance
• Cell Phone

Services Provided:

• Driver Load/Unload
• Distribute packages for institutions, business, and government agencies
• Lift freight in and out of vehicle for deliveries
• Lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and placing freight for delivery (up to 50 lbs)
• Maintain route / delivery expectations and standards
• Communicate with customers, dispatch, and management as needed to perform services

Contract Experience:

• Prior delivery or contract driving experience – 1 year Preferred
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet strict deadlines
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Detail-oriented with a strong customer service focus
• Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing clients
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently while collaborating as needed
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ease of adaptation to situation(s)
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Committed to safety and compliance standards for motoring public
• Must pass client-required background check and drug screening
• Own and maintain reliable transportation and necessary equipment
