As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dependable, motivated Delivery Driver / DME Technician to join our team.

Position Overview:

This role is responsible for delivering, setting up, and picking up durable medical equipment such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, oxygen equipment, and other home medical supplies. The technician serves as a field representative of the company and plays a key role in patient satisfaction.

No prior DME experience required — we will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Load, deliver, set up, and retrieve medical equipment in patient homes
• Educate patients and caregivers on proper equipment use
• Complete all delivery documentation accurately using company app
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and organization
• Clean, disinfect, and perform minor repairs on equipment
• Follow all DOT, FDA, and oxygen safety regulations
• Maintain warehouse stock levels and organization
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
• Participate in rotating weekend and on-call schedule
• Represent Alternacare in a professional and positive manner

Requirements:

• Clean driving record (Required)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 75 lbs daily
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Comfortable working independently
• Professional appearance and communication skills
• Ability to work rotating weekends and on-call schedule

Experience in delivery, stocking, warehouse work, or mechanical/technical roles is a plus — but not required.

Schedule:

• Full Time
• 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday
• Rotating on-call schedule (24/7 operation)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
