Delivery Driver (F & B)

Job Summary:

Delivery Driver is a vital part of our team, ensuring efficient and timely deliveries of goods to our stores and different area when needed. This role combines physical activity with organizational skills and a reliable customer-focused driver to assist the team and the company. As a Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for ensuring our stores receive their supplies efficiently. You'll play a key role in delivering a positive experience and keeping our deliveries running smoothly.

Main Responsibilities:
Delivering Goods: Safely transport packages, food, furniture, or other items to customers' homes or businesses. This may involve following a designated route and adhering to a time schedule.

Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional interaction with customers. This could include answering questions about deliveries, resolving minor issues, and collecting payments (depending on the company).

Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic vehicle checks to ensure safe operation. This might involve checking tire pressure, fluid levels, and reporting any mechanical problems.

Route Planning: Some delivery drivers may be responsible for planning their own routes to optimize delivery efficiency.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including completed deliveries, undelivered packages, and customer interactions.

Safety: Uphold all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. This includes following safe driving practices and securing cargo properly.

Delivering Orders: Safely transport prepared food orders from restaurants to customers' homes or businesses within a designated timeframe. This involves following optimized routes and ensuring food arrives hot, fresh, and secure.

Customer Service: Provide a positive and professional experience for customers. This might involve greeting customers upon arrival, verifying orders, handling cash or card payments (depending on the company), and addressing any minor delivery concerns.
