Delivery Driver - Part Time or Full Time

Summary:

This position picks up/delivers products from warehouses, stores, and customers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Picks up and/or delivers products from warehouses, stores, and customers depending on the situation

Loads product and drives company vehicles including pickup truck, van, or box truck

Performs delivery duties necessary for the operations of the retail store and company overall

Includes short haul driving for local/regional area, etc. as needed

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma, or GED equivalent needed. Any further education/experience in the warehousing area preferred.

Must maintain a positive attitude, with a customer service focus in a fast-paced work environment.

Use of forklift trucks & order pickers experience needed.

Should possess ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

Should be detail-oriented, focused, driven, and a self-starter.

Must have willingness to learn products sold, customer service, policies, procedures, and about the trucking industry as a whole in order to meet customer needs.

Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

Job will include periods of standing, walking, reaching, stooping/kneeling, and bending. Stair climbing and walking on uneven surfaces will also be present. Subject to heat/cold conditions in warehouse conditions. Moderate use of hands and arms will be needed. May be required to lift to 50 lbs. by self, or team lift to 100 lbs. Use of mechanical lifts required for heavier orders. Long periods of driving company vehicles
