Delivery Driver - Seasonal

Cedar Grove Composting is looking for a Seasonal Delivery Driver. The role is responsible for delivering bagged compost products to customers in the Greater Seattle area (Everett, Tacoma, Bellevue) using a large delivery truck or van. This role provides excellent customer service to our customers and utilizes technology for data tracking at the point of sale. The schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday, 6:30am to 3:00pm.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drive safely and professionally.
• Load vehicle with products to be delivered.
• Deliver bagged compost products to customers.
• Other related duties as needed.

Required Skills:

• Ability to work with public in professional manner
• Dependable, self-motivated and ability to work without supervision
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be hard working and a diligent task master
• Ability to operate a powered and/or unpowered hand pallet truck.

Education/Certification:

• Insurable driving record
• Valid Washington state driver's license

Physical Demands:

To successfully perform the essential tasks of this position, an individual must be able to sit, stand, walk and climb ladders up to 8 hours per day. Individual must be able to regularly lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds, and on occasion lift and carry objects up to 60 pounds.
