Delivery Driver - St. Petersburg

TOPPINO SHIPPING INC is now hiring full-time FedEx delivery route drivers in the St. Petersburg, FL area. Drivers will operate out of the St. Petersburg terminal and make deliveries to local residences and businesses in surrounding areas.

Terminal location: 1950 102nd Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33716

Pay: $100/day during the first week of training, $175/day afterward

Schedule: Our schedules vary; open availability is required
Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Delivery Driver Job Information:

• We operate 7 days a week. Full-time – 6 scheduled days per week.
• Routes are dispatched no later than 8:00 AM and are completed once all packages are delivered (usually by 6:00 PM).
• This is a physical job and requires the driver to get in and out of the truck multiple times.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Authorization to work in the United States
• Previous experience with Amazon, UPS, FedEx, or DHL is a plus, but training is provided
• Clean motor vehicle record
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a DOT medical/physical exam
• Must be willing to undergo a background check
• Physically able to carry packages of 100 lbs or more (150 lbs with a dolly)
• Able to complete at least 150–170 stops per day

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the FedEx terminal in Tampa to pick up the vehicle and packages
• Load and unload packages from the truck
• Deliver packages to their destinations
• Scan and log packages
