Delivery Driver/Appliance Installer

Job Description

JTS Logistics is looking for a Delivery Driver/ Appliance Installer to join our team. This position will be responsible for making deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner, as well as installing appliances. Items being delivered will vary, around 25% will be appliances. Must be on time every morning at 6:30 am. Compensation will be at an agreed upon daily rate paid out weekly.

Must be able to pass a drug test along with a background check.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and prepare product for delivery
• Perform delivery calls to specific addresses within company limits
• Responsible for completing deliveries in a safe, timely manner and in a timely manner to avoid traffic jams
• Provide excellent customer service as a Delivery Driver
• Additional duties as assigned by manager

Skills and Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Experience driving 26 Ft. Box Truck
• Knowledge of how to install Fridges, Washers, Dryers, and Ranges.
• Ability to assemble and dissamble appliances to enter small entry ways.
• Ability to use Dollies, Shoulder straps, and ratchet straps.
• 1 year of verifiable delivery experience.
• 1 year of non-CDL driving experience
• No more than 1 moving violation during the past 3 years
• No more than 1 accident during the past 3 years
• Ability to safely lift up to 150 lbs. or more than this on a daily basis
• Ability to maintain a clean driving record according to DOPT guidelines
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work along with the other team member.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
