Duties

• Safely operate a box truck or similar commercial vehicle to deliver goods along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals.
• Load and unload products using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct thorough route driving, navigating efficiently through various neighborhoods and business districts.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and addressing concerns with a positive attitude.
• Verify delivery orders against shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness before dispatching.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and incident reports as needed.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock movement, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Experience

• Prior delivery driver experience with a proven track record of safe driving and route management.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including heavy lifting, moving items, and operating equipment like forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving box trucks or similar vehicles preferred.
• Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and moving items safely.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $26.12 per hour
