Delivery Driver/Order Coordinator

Company: Global Pipe and Supply Location: Lafayette, LA

Global Pipe and Supply is seeking a Delivery Driver/Order Coordinator to handle picking, packing, and delivering pipe, valves, and fittings to Oil & Gas customers throughout the region. This role combines warehouse support with safe, efficient local deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and load orders accurately for daily deliveries.
• Perform safe and timely deliveries to customer sites.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
• Adhere to all client-specific PPE and safety requirements.
• Build positive relationships with customers during deliveries.
• Report directly to the Dispatch Supervisor and Branch Manager.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
• Certified (or willing to become certified) to operate a forklift.
• Clean driving record.
• Proficiency in driving a truck with a gooseneck trailer.
• Team player with strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas products is a plus.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
