Overview
The Route Sales Representative is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships while managing a designated sales route. This role requires a self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who can consistently meet sales goals while identifying opportunities to grow the route and increase earnings.
Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections, loading and organizing a 16-foot box truck, ensuring all equipment and handheld devices are operational, servicing approximately 15 customer locations per day, managing inventory levels, creating invoices, collecting payments, maintaining accurate records, reporting credits or damaged products, completing end-of-day sales reports, and unloading the truck upon return. Representatives are expected to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves properly stocked and rotated, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and be willing to step up when additional responsibilities arise.
